Alanna - Tacoma Senior Portrait Photographer - {Melissa Ide Photography}

Alanna's Senior Rep. Session
Class of 2012 Foss High School

Well, because we live in Washington we have to rely on the weatherman to accurately guess the forecast.  Alanna and I only had to reschedule once but the weather threatened on Friday as well.  I watched a layer of clouds roll in all morning as I waited to head over to our shoot.  Surprisingly, the clouds lifted as I made the commute and the sun shone brightly.

Alanna was an absolute delight to work with and I enjoyed every moment of it.  And to think we still get another session.  How did I get so lucky?  Here are some of the pictures that we captured.

More of the pictures from this shoot will appear under the Senior Portrait tab at the top of my blog.  Please check them out as well.

Heather Trone & Cory Rishel
Puyallup Engagement Photographer - {Melissa Ide Photography}

Met up with Heather and Cory at a local park on Sunday evening.  I had an awesome time walking around with them and just watching how they interracted with one another.  It truly was an honor to photograph these two, they are so in love.  Thank you both!

Part One of ...

our road trip to Port Townsend, Washington.  Last Friday we took a drive toward Port Townsend, our goal, visit the beach at low tide.  This was going to be our daughter's first road trip while our boys were spending quality time with their grandma.

Here are some images from the trip....

Before we left on our trip I decided to add one more friend for the road... Pookie.  Pookie is my giant teddy bear, he's a photo prop from Costco, and we kinda like him.  I thought it would be fun to bring Pookie along and pose him in different places that we stopped.  I think he will be making more trips with us in the future so keep watching to see where he turns up next.

And you should have seen all of the looks that we received, they were awesome.  Many good times had on what turned out to be a beautiful Washington day.
