This had to be one of the most entertaining shoots to date;  Joe is quite the comedian and kept us on our toes during the entire thing.  He brought along his beautiful girlfriend and I was able to capture a few lovely moments between the two of them and some of their hi-jinx.

And then there was snow, and ice, and a power outtage....

And some frozen, snowy stuff around our yard.

I really don't like the snow but when you're stuck with it for a few days you have to make the best of it.

The weathermen have been predicting snow for our area but never seemed to know which day it was going to hit.  Well, in our neighborhood we had a little bit on Saturday and quite a bit more overnight.  Today we took Sophia out to see the snow for her second time.  Last year she was only a few months old and she doesn't remember it.

This year I thought it would be fun to join a photography challenge where you take a picture to fulfill a theme each week.  I had originally thought that I would just share them on the Facebook page but have opted now to put them on my blog.  I figured why not share them a bit more.  So, weeks 1 and 2 have passed and here they are.

Spent Wednesday night under the lights on Emerald Ridge High School's new field.  The Glacier View players came to the field ready to defend their record as the away team.  And defend it they did.  The energy at the field was awesome, parents and students were everywhere, and the drum core roared.

Two undefeated seasons in a row for these kids.  They were amazing.

At the end of the night, these two teams came together at the center of the field to look to their future together.  These kids will join forces in 2012 as Jags for Emerald Ridge.
